A basic skill that Culinary Arts students need to learn is to make a basic omelet. One of the chefs that have been in the classroom teaching this skills has commented on how much easier it would be if all of the students had a good omelet pan for practice as well as testing of this skills. To make sure that all students in the first year Culinary Arts class to the Advanced class can have good equipment to demonstrate this basic culinary skill of making omelets would be of great benefit to these students. My goal is to help provide this opportunity for all of the students in the program. Not only is the a career skill, but also a basic life skill.
