Students have a hard time sitting for long periods of time and will start doing things like tapping their pencils or leaning in their chairs. In order to provide services for the number of students I see, I teach a split block class which means I teach one group for 25 minutes, switch, and then teach a second group for another 25 minutes. Because my time working with these students is shorter than the normal block period, we cannot afford to waste time. Figits and adaptive stools will help my students attend better and increase their reading and writing skills! Figits and adaptive stools will help my students utilize all their classroom time for learning by providing them with the sensory/movement they need to focus on the lesson in front of them. Another benefit of figits and adaptive stools is an increase in more positive behavior in the classroom. When students are able to get their physical needs met, they can shift their mental efforts to learning. These tools will help my students tremendously, thank you for considering a donation to my project.
