My classroom is a place of science. A place where technology combines with learning to reflect our world. My classroom is also a place of peace and acceptance. A place where no matter a students background or learning level they can walk through my door and just breathe. Four walls filled with warm, comforting colors and the smells of lavender, lemon and peppermint. My students are brilliant, struggling, happy, sad, angry, searching, confused, whimsical, disorganized, goal-oriented and every other descriptive word for the many faces a teenager wears in the span of a minute. My classroom is a science classroom, but also a place where my kids know without a doubt "you are enough".
