My classroom was recently blessed with a class set of tablet computers. This is an amazing opportunity for my students to have technology readily available! However, while students are used to touchscreens while operating their smartphones, they are not ideal vehicles for writing and revising essays and stories. In order to fully implement this new technology, we need keyboards and OTG adapters in order to connect the tablets to the keyboards. We need these because not only are wireless keyboards more expensive, but they don't always work and the chips can easily be misplaced. The wired keyboards are much more practical! With our new tablets, adapters, and keyboards, my students will be ready for 21st-century learning and all its benefits and rewards!
