The flexible seating will allow students who struggle with focusing to have a safe space within the classroom. During independent work sessions students can utilize the Califone 2800-BL Listening First Headphone to access their interactive notebooks. Students given a choice of comfortable seating will become more engaged in their academic studies and less of a disruption to their peers. The products I have selected will give my students greater access to the online curriculum. The Futon chairs will allow me to differentiate my instruction effectively. Students will be able to work independently or in small groups while I facilitate my lesson.
