We are working to integrate technology throughout our Kindergarten school day. Our English Language Arts program has an amazing digital component that includes stories, phonics, songs, etc. We are also attempting programs in math, science, and P.E. Our grade level has inherited a set of 30 used laptops from our upper grade classrooms that are shared between 6 classrooms. We are very thankful to have these laptops which we are able to use once a week. A classroom iPad could help me project these sites in the classroom and utilize technology to help prepare my students for the future. An iPad would be incredibly useful on the day we have use of the laptops, but could also be used and projected for group work when laptops are not available. I am very excited to encourage and help my students become comfortable with and literate in technology. My students and I would be so grateful to have this resource in our classroom!
