Flexible seating allows my students to use various seating and areas to allow them to be more engaged in their lessons. Comfortability and allowing them options for seating motivates them to do their work. Currently my students like to sit in wobble stools, stools, stand while working, laying on the floor, and sit on the floor. When students are given choices, which also allow them to be comfortable, they make good choices, are more engaged, and complete the tasks directed rather than only sitting at their desks. My students are noticeably more engaged and attentive when given flexible seating options to conduct their learning! These products will assist my students by giving them additional seating options on the floor as well as using the cushions on their chairs. The cushions allow for movement and comfort which is beneficial for students that need to slightly move to engage in the tasks. Having more cushions allows for the students who really need the seats to be able to take them with them in their general education classroom and other areas of the school day where they would need to sit for extended periods of times. They are lightweight which will allow for easy mobility for the students. My students are noticeably more engaged and have increased participation when given choices and flexibility in seating. More access to choices and additional options will allow my students to grow more and transfer that growth into other settings around the school!
