Students will be able to see how different bees use different types of homes. The variety of bee homes will allow for students to inquire about how hole size affects the pollinator that lives there. We are also going to be putting in a student designed orchard on our campus so having additional bee habitat will help our orchard get pollinated. The slides will help students see an improved variety while improving their microscope skills. Our current collection is very limited and needs some variety. Students need to be able to see a variety of items in order to improve their skill of finding specimen, focusing, and zooming in using higher power lenses.
