The shoulder rest have helped my students to be able to hold their violins and violas correctly. This is super important because without it they instruments would drop when they try to do certain things on their instrument like glissandos.\r\n\r\nThis also helps them with their posture and not hurting their neck and wrists while holding the instrument. The ability to change as their understandings changes is a key component of vertical learning surfaces. The non-permanance aspect allows their ideas to change with much more ease. Students are also more willing to put their ideas out there.\r\n\r\nThe four stands were needed to make this happen as they are not on a wall as my other learning surfaces are. The students were able to plant seeds and care for them as they germinated. The plants grew into seedlings and were put into our school garden and other places. \r\n\r\nWithout your support my project would have not had as big of an impact. The grow lights were perfect fit for our three level cart.
