My students need a set of KEVA Planks, Builder Set, Connect Starter and two KEVA Brain Builders, to express themselves in the Makerspace. It is my belief that every child has the right to invent, tinker, create, make in a stress free environment. Students need to express themselves freely and use critical thinking and creativity skills. You don't need anyone's permission to create something GREAT! That is the philosophy I want to instill in my students, that they can use creativity to make something. Using the KEVA Planks and the task cards, the students can create something and use these life-long skills. Students have so much going on in the classroom on a regular basis. I want them to be able to come to the Makerspace and use these materials to work on critical thinking and creativity skills but feel like they are able to express themselves freely in a non-stress environment.
