My students are fun and creative but I often lack a technology component that they themselves can use during my classes and more specifically during station activities. My students come from poverty and many can never access a computer outside of school. In our world today, technology is the key to working in most industries. These requested Samsung Chromebooks allow my students to be exposed to computers and how to use them while exploring different historical topics. I only have access to one computer lab and it is only open a few days of the week. These Chromebooks will greatly improve the amount of technology they use in my class and during their day. This will also allow me to create more engaging station activities because currently all of my stations do not involve technology. In the end, more engaging stations will lead to much more knowledge gained!
