Our students have been greatly affected by COVID and the different school formats that we've used over the course of the last two years. One area that has particularly suffered is their reading comprehension. By providing new and exciting books, I am hoping to rekindle their reading habits and help them strengthen their reading skills. The only way to get better at reading is through practice. Suspenseful, thrilling new books help motivate students to practice their reading skills. Through this project, I am hoping to better address the following standard: 8.RL.10
