These additions to our classroom library will provide my students with the materials to become lifelong learners and fans of literature. My students have shown that they have a great interested in literature. These resources will give them to access it at their individual levels and areas of interest. The need for a great book in every young person's hand goes far beyond anything academic, it is a matter of providing our students with the ability to find new worlds, ideas and philosophies on their own terms. This is why reading is essential part of what I do everyday as a teacher. This is why literacy is a huge part of everything that we do as a campus and why this library will open doors for our students to be the foundations for their communities in the very near future.
