Zora Neale Hurston was a resident of Florida and an accomplished author during the Harlem Renaissance period. It is important for our students to see accomplished woman from our state. Students will learn information about the author as well experience the culture of the food, music and festival. Students will learn historically about the development of the city of Eatonville. Students will take a bus to the event. During the event, students will take a tour of the Zora Neale Hurstom Museum that is located next to the Outdoor Festival. Students will enjoy literature, music, and food of the historic town of Eatonville.

About my class
