It is always my goal to incorporate as much science, social studies, and writing into each literacy lesson as possible to create a well-rounded understanding of each topic, and these books help me deliver the content and fuel a love of learning. The stories they will hear each week help turn abstract ideas to concrete understandings with the help of these books. They include fictional texts that explore the world of make believe and introduces them to classic fairy tales. They also include many non-fiction texts that help them gain a better understanding of the amazing world around them.
