More than half of my class enjoys building. Whether they are building blocks, cubes, etc., they are always trying to build something. These items will enhance the children's minds while making log houses, practicing their letters and shapes, and many other various activities. With these supplies, the students will have more choices and it will allow more students to engage in this type of activity at one time. Right now we only have old heavy blocks in our classroom and it is only safe for 2 children to build at a time. Our choice time allows the students to choose an activity within the classroom that they enjoy. More than half of my class enjoys building with the blocks. Unfortunately due to the amount of students and the lack of building materials, very few students get this opportunity each day.
