Most of my students come from low income homes, they receive public housing and free lunch. Some of them come from very unstable environments and school is the only place where they have stability and guarantees. This is why it's so imperative I keep the art room stocked with supplies. For a lot of my students art is the only outlet they have to cope with life. Having paper, markers, color pencils and pencils gives my students the means to express themselves and to learn. My school only has a budget for sketchbooks the rest of the supplies and materials the other art teacher and I fave to find ways to supply. Most of my students parents can barely furnish their students with the basic school supplies let alone art supplies. Hence is the reason fro me creating this request, we need your support. Your contribution will be greatly.
