The students in my class struggle with what they cannot see. Many are visual and kinesthetic learners that engage with material best when there is a manipulative they are able to interact with. When compounds and reactions occur at such a small level that students cannot see it happen, they lose interest because they don't comprehend what is really going on. This project will allow students to interact with the chemical world in a way that they never could before. A virtual reality Periodic Table will allow students to be able to manipulate and experience the infinitesimal right from there classroom.
