Each of my students have an account for ST Math and RAZ-Kids, but are lacking adequate opportunities to progress in their online math and literacy assignments, due to lack of working iPads and available Chromebooks to go around. These requested Lenovo Chromebooks will be a great supplement and will enable more students to progress in their leveled reading or math challenges without losing connectivity. The Chromebooks will also be used by students from three other classrooms during our daily hour of Academy, during which one of their activities is to do their online, leveled reading assignments on RAZ-kids. All students at our school set Wildly Important Goals for learning on a regular basis, and a majority of them are tied to assignment completion in ST Math and/or RAZ-Kids. Since many of our students do not have technology at home that allows them to work on the online assignments, the additional Chromebooks will allow more students to get online, making it a little easier for them to meet their academic goals.
