The 4th graders in my classroom need help with their independent reading skills. Through these new books in my classroom library, I will be able to encourage reading and excite them with these new titles. These were all picked in order to excite the kids about reading. My students love to read the Sisters Grimm Series, and would love to have the entire series in our classroom library. Students will be reading these books and writing book reports about them, creating projects and writing reviews on the books. This will help to improve their comprehension, fluency and reading stamina. Currently, our classroom library is lacking the new books that kids are interested in! I have chosen these books specifically as they are very high interest for my students.
