This year in kindergarten my students are extremely eager to learn and are intrigued by the idea of a listening center for both reading and math center time. As of right now, my listening center has no headphones and only has one spot for the headphones to be plugged in. I am requesting a read-along listening center and a complete set of math skills listening centers. My students would be utilizing the listening center during both math and reading center time. My students will be able to chose different books and follow along and listen to them, identifying high frequency words and other familiar words, which will build their reading fluency and their reading comprehension. Your generous donation to our classroom listening center will help improve our classroom by building our students love of literacy through books.
