The Autism students I work with don't always know how to play or interact with others. Many students must be taught how to interact with their peers, or be taught ways to calm themselves when they become overstimulated. With your much appreciated donation I will be able to start a sensory/motor room for my students. This room will provide my students with motor games and activities to improve interaction skills. It will also, through the use of the swing and frame provide them with a way to calm themselves and get the vestibular input so many of the students need.

About my class
