This project provides my students with tools to explore their imaginations through art and building. The art-drying rack will make art more accessible and allow painting to become part of our weekly routine. I love getting messy with art and using a variety of materials. Art helps develop fine motor skills and grows creativity and imagination. The building blocks will have students use their entire bodies to build and create as a team. This kind of kinesthetic learning and team work grows the 21st century skills of collaboration, creativity, and communication.
