My students need Chromebooks to use in class to develop their reading and writing skills. The project will provide students with 5 classroom Chromebooks to learn how to use it as a tool to communicate using Google Drive, Google Classroom and other web based sites. This will help develop reading, writing, and collaboration skills. The Chromebooks will also allow me teach historical thinking skills, online civics education and apply inquiry-based learning with students. The Chromebooks will help students produce and share their ideas. Students will use the technology when engaging in document analysis, reading and writing activities, collaborating with classmates and receiving teacher feedback to bring connections to the learning goals and objectives of the lesson. This will provide the teacher with real time student work in order to assess learning and collaborate.
