Having a shaped table will allow me to work individually with small groups during guided reading or math. It will allow for more personalized attention to each student. I will be able to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. A small cozy work space with me close will build their confidence to try new tasks. This work area will be a place to sit and focus to learn or demonstrate a specific skill. At this work station, children will be able to use technology to visit websites and also able to listen to stories.
