My English language learner students lack computer and research skills that many native born students have. By allowing them to work on a Mac Book Air, they can increase their computer and research skills. Many students do not have access to technology in their homes. With a Mac Book Air my students will also be able to work on Google Translate and learn to create Google slides. My English language learners also need many visuals and an exposure to a variety of texts (videos, articles, auditory clips) in order to comprehend and analyze grade level texts. By using a Mac Book Air, I will be able to expose them to these tools during whole group and small group instruction.
