My kids are using a table with legs that are uneven and held to the table top with duct tape. Can you imagine a first grader trying to learn to write with a table that rocks back and forth? This new table and chairs will provide my kids with the chance to go to a center devoted to a specific objective. With the new table they will not have to work on the floor. They will have a space that is safe for them to work at. This will be the first NEW table they have ever had. We currently have all hand me down furniture from the older grades.
