When students have the right tools, it unleashes their innermost creativity and capability. Students access technology on a daily basis and they need quality headphones. We use headphones to help with focus and with individual listening/response tasks. Pencils and erasers allow for mistakes to be made, identified, and fixed. Other supplies like markers, dry-erase markers, highlighters, and colored pencils help to highlight important topics and/or concepts and insert creativity into student learning. With such a diverse group of students I want to make sure I have the right tools for each and every learner. Kleenex and Lysol wipes will help keep our classroom clean and students healthy. I do not want anything to hold them back!
