My students are eager to become better readers and writers. They are challenged with increasing vocabulary, writing stories, and preparing assignments on grade level. My school does not have manipulatives for students to create work before submitting a final assignment. Struggling writers can build better sentences by creating with manipulative magnetic words as their vocabulary, reading, and writing improve! Students are able to create, change, and reorganize sentences, stories, and poetry before writing it on paper. Reluctant students are motivated by manipulative materials while focusing on learning to read and write better.
