Technology plays a huge role for 21st Century learners. Our school has created a global learning and academic excellence by implementing technology amongst everyone of their students. We aim to create a cultural awareness and sensitivity both within the school and in the outside world by incorporating a Language Academy with the use of Technology. Mt Rose is also an AVID School which prepares students for college readiness and success. These unique characteristics of our school require dedication and support from each staff member. Having Technology devices available to each student and staff allows Mt Rose to continue to prosper as 21st Century Educators and Learners. Providing Mt Rose with additional laptops would bring more dedication and support to the school. It would benefit every student in the school. Technology plays such a huge role in the future of our students. We would like to give each one of our students more technology opportunities on a daily basis. Technology devices can help prepare students for college and careers as Mt Rose Elementary strives to do! Having more laptops will benefit the students in preparing them for the future. They can use the laptops in the classrooms giving them typing skills, research opportunities and using the laptops to create a positive Digital Footprint. The school is embarked with a rich history and culture which makes it a perfect school to house a global technology learning curriculum.
