I am trying to create a more play environment with my students. I realized in playing games with the students that they have never been exposed to the games before. To fix this I wanted to assign homework and have the students play games with the parents. I do not know if the parents know how to play the games either, but using the printer I could make the instructions in Spanish and in English so that students can practice reading them to their parents in both languages. Homework should be fun and engage the parents also. I do not want to expect the parents to have the games at home, so I want to be able to send the games home in bags. The students would be able to sign out the games and I will give them a day the games need to be back. When the games come back it will give me an opportunity to talk to the students about what they thought of the game. I am sure the students will love to tell me how their parents did at the homework also.
