A study published by ARM.org titled, "Effects of Indoor Rowing Exercise on the Body Composition: A Preliminary Study" has suggested that rowing is a safe whole-body exercise with aerobic and anaerobic components." In the sport of wrestling, practice can be grueling on both the mind and the body. The use of the rowing machines will provide a change of pace for our student-athletes especially during the arduous months of December and January. It is also proven to tone and build muscles, and of course increase stamina. Most importantly, it's low impact exercise that gets the heart pumping and lungs working, providing a serious aerobic workout.
