The addition of this rug to our classroom will allow all students to comfortably sit together for whole class lessons. They will also be able to cuddle up with good books or play math games. In addition, students will have an alternative spot for working independently. The funding of this project will not only give the students a concrete example of kindness, but it will also provide them a more inviting space in which to work, learn, and grow. Children become more invested if they feel valued. The idea that a new rug would be donated to their second grade classroom will certainly help the students feel extra special.
