These seats, specifically the Wobble Chairs and exercise balls, will make a huge impact in my classroom because they allow students to move while working. My students tend to complain a lot about their backs and bottoms hurting from sitting in a chair almost all day long. Providing students comfort will help my students become more productive and less distracted. They will have more fun while learning. Flexible seating allows the students to move which is excellent for physical health. Flexible seating will allow students to choose where they sit, so they can focus and do their best work. Instead of having to sit in the same types of seats all day, students feel empowered by having a choice about where they will sit. The surf tables will provide another seating option on the floor. I am hoping to see student attention and behavior improve drastically. Even with constant brain breaks, some students just need that constant movement. The donation of the exercise balls and wiggle seats will help!
