Jason Reynolds is an author who has the great skill of connecting to the inner workings of a middle schooler's brain, and present stories that are engaging and interesting to them. Students will only love to read if you give them books that they can relate to and understand on a deeper level. With a set of Jason Reynold's book Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks will make for a great read aloud. We have read other books by this author and the students respond to his writing so well, inspiring deep conversations.
