Binders produce a source of organization, and teaching students with disabilities organization in P.E. can transfer into the classroom and personal lives. As an Adapted P.E. teacher, I try to expose my students to many different activities, games, and motor patterns, and I would love to teach my students how to track their personal scores or times. Once they track this information, they need a place to put it! That is where the binders come in! Binders are an easy and effective tool for my students to holf information and learn, practice, and apply using this information by having a place to track their data. Having these binders will also provide their teachers and parents a concrete example of the work they are completing during Adapted P.E. The students can use these binders and what they have inside them to display their achievements in P.E. and help produce confidence in their skills.
