My students come from homes, where getting outside is not always made a priority. I want my students to enjoy nature and get to experience all the outdoors has to offer! The snow pants are perfect for the snow and the warm mittens are easy enough for the students to put on themselves and still allow them to stay dry and warm in the snow. Many of my families cannot afford the extra gear that outside winter play entails, so providing them with some of the essentials makes life a little easier, at home and school. Having a class set of mittens and snowpants means that everyone gets to enjoy the great outdoors! The snowpants are very durable, so they will be able to be used for several years.
