Art is an important part of what we do here. My students are almost entirely immigrant and still English Language Learners. Our school believes that the visual arts is a place that they can succeed regardless of their language ability. This year we have stepped up the arts a notch!!! For the first time my school has given our students a CHOICE of what elective they want to pursue. My energetic group of 7th grade students has chosen to take Art.
