My students come from a community that is impacted by limited resources. Many of them do not have access to a computer outside of school. By giving them more opportunities to work on computers and learn basic computing skills I would be expanding their learning possibilities. Everything that is asked of them to show evidence of learning and growth is done via computer. Allowing them to build up stamina by typing their ideas and tenacity searching the ample resources available online will improve their knowledge and skill bank. It will only propel them further into being prepared for the technology world.
