I teach in a low socio-economic urban area in Long Beach. Many of our students live in overcrowded spaces and are unable to go outside and move freely because of safety issues in our neighborhood. Despite hardships that they face at home, these students come to school with a positive attitude and a smile on their faces! They show up eager to learn and interact with their teachers and fellow students. My students make me look forward to coming to work everyday. Their curiosity and enthusiasm are just infectious and they make me want to give the world to them!

About my class
