As adults, when we work, we want to be comfortable. The same goes for students! Our new furniture will do just that for each of my students. In addition to comfort, many students have attention struggles, being able to move and change their seating can eliminate distractions from outside stimuli. In addition to comfort, flexible seating allows for a deeper level of collaboration. When sitting at a hard rectangular desk, authentic conversation is difficult. With cushions, lap desks, seat cushions and bean bag chairs, students have the ability to manipulate their seating to create various student learning groups. Help my students get a chance for change!
