Last year I received a grant for a full keyboard classroom. Every student I saw learned how to play the keyboard. This year due to the current pandemic the children will not be able to travel to different rooms in the school, so they will spend the entire day in their classrooms! I would like to continue to teach the children how to play but I won't be able to travel from class to class with the the large keyboards. The mini keyboards will be the best alternative, making it easy to transport them from class to class so that they will still be able to learn the fundamentals of keyboard instruction. Music and the brain is a neuroscience-based program that brings music literacy curriculum and classroom keyboard instruction to schools with underserved students, helping them build cognitive, attention, and fine motor skills to succeed academically and in life. Your donation will allow the children to continue on their journey to becoming amazing musicians!
