By having working headphones in the class, the students knowledge will increase greatly when taking online tests. The students complete online tests every semester and activities weekly on the computer. Many of the students do not have headphones or the headphones in the classroom do not work anymore. The headphones are needed to help the students comprehend what is being asked for them by the program I-Ready. The program helps them learn their alphabet, the sounds of the alphabet, sight words, and reading comprehension so they are reinforcing what is being taught to them. The students also do activities and tests that reinforce math concepts being taught to them. My students are dedicated to learning in my class and would love to succeed better if they can hear what is being asked my them on the program I-Ready.
