My students need headphones to do all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment. Watching and creating videos in history class is challenging and giving my newcomers a chance to do it at their own pace is vital to their learning. These headphones will be utilized for reading articles and editing videos. Access to quality headphones have been a constant issue for me in supporting my newcomer students. We watch current events regularly and many of the supplemental resources that we use in class requires ELD students to listen to blogs and information online. We have only a handful of old headphones and this project would change how my students work in class.
