Listening and speaking skills are imperative for language learners. My students use technology every day, but they don't always have access to the best equipment. The headsets would allow my students to hear native speakers, immerse in the culture via French videos, and listen to French songs. Students learn best when they are actively engaged. It is not enough for my students to just hear others speak the language. They need to practice using the language themselves! The microphones would allow my students to use software that records them speaking French. I would be able to hear them as well as they would be able to hear themselves as they strive to become proficient speakers of the French language.
