My students learn best with academic materials that offer hands-on experiences. As their teacher, I am trying to gather hands-on learning materials in every subject that will promote an excitement for learning and the type of learning that will ultimately create retention of what they have learned. These include the magnetic word builders, story wants, phonics flip books and activity centers and stations that I am requesting with this project. After going through a great storm where mostly all of my students lost everything they owned, I try to make learning fun and the classroom a place of escape and safety. They love learning at their own level and gain so much confidence when they conquer hands-on assignment. Thank you so much!!!
