My student's reading levels range from 1st grade to 6th grade. I would love to have additional materials to build on their skills so we can create better readers. I love small group instruction, where I meet with 6-7 students to work on reading. In the groups, we focus on the content the students need to learn and use these books as tools to grow. We willcreate a small learning environment within the group and read books that we dive into and discuss. My students enjoy having small group time. It would be beneficial to the student, if we had multiple choices in reading material, allowing them to recognize the vast array of stories they have at their fingertips.
