My students are a diverse group of middle school from south Texas. We are working to rebuild from hurricane Harvey but the students are strong and making the best of it. I am working to create a fun learning environment for all of my students where they can come to love the field that I teach. My school has large number of economically disadvantaged students. We are working on having a classroom that teaches art with the integration into the outer subjects so students learn about how interconnected the different subjects are.
