Low self-esteem can make children lash out and be a bully or get bullied. The main focus of my project is MINDFUL education about loving who you are and what you add to any community. When students are proud of who they are, you begin to have confident individuals that can focus on what matters the most in school: their education. My goal is to create a book club with students from grades 3-5 called the BEE Squad. The Bee Squad will wear the Unity t-shirts and read anti-bullying material like The No More Bullying Book for Kids and practice self esteem building skills that build their love and confidence in themselves. My project/products are geared at helping students make sense of it all in small groups so they can succeed in the larger groups everywhere else.
