These materials on my wish list are all to be dedicated to encouraging independence and student led learning. More specifically, the 12 drawer cart will be used to clearly display our variety of centers for math and literacy. By labeling and differentiating the drawers, my students can independently gauge their abilities and have the freedom to choose their center work. The colored card stock will be used to fulfill monthly newsletters and seasonal projects to enhance fine motor skills. Scented markers are a great way to encourage using our senses to describe all different things. They also add a fun experience to school work and create life long memories in classrooms, knowing that scent has a definite link to memory. Not only that, but the sharpie markers are to be used for creating anchor charts for the students to use as a constant reference for a variety of topics in all subjects.
